Etoile Sportive de Rades have kept the trophy of Tunisia’s Basketball Cup (Men) after defeating US Monastir (79-65), at a final game played on Saturday in Rades.
The Rades club have thus won their second straight double after bagging last Saturday the title of champions of Tunisia.
The club, who had won three doubles in their history, have a record of 11 cups (1961, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965, 1968, 1970, 1971, 1972 and 2017).
At the end of the final, Minister of Youth and Sports Majdoline Cherni and Secretary of State for Sport, Imed Jabri, presented the trophies of Tunisia’s Championship and Cup to ES Rades, in the middle a great jubilation.
Earlier in the afternoon, Sports Club of Police de Circulation kept their title in women’s after a win over CS Sfaxien 52-42.
