In IPL Cricket, Kolkata Knight Riders beat Kings Eleven Punjab by 31 runs in Indore this evening.

Put in to bat, Kolkata Knight Riders set a huge target of 246 runs. They made 245 for 6 in their 20 overs. While opener Sunil Naraine top-scored with 75 off 36 balls, skipper Dinesh Karthik made 50 off 23 balls.

For the Punjab side, Andrew Tye finished with four wickets for 41 runs in his four overs. Chasing the target, Kings Eleven could only manage to score 214 for 8 in the stipulated overs.

In today’s other match in Delhi, Royal Challengers Bangalore, RCB, have elected to field after winning toss against Delhi Daredevils.

The Delhi team have already been knocked out of the tournament with just six points from eleven games.

For RCB, this is a must-win game as they would be shown the exit gate if they lose another game. At present, RCB have just three wins from 10 games.

They have to win their remaining four games to have any chance of making the play-offs.
