Governor exhorts scientists, teachers

Punjab Governor and UT Administrator VP Singh Badnore on Friday asked the faculty and young scientists to continue the collective efforts to enhance the innovation and knowledge sharing in the field of pharmaceutical sciences and take the lead of making India achieve number one position in the world.

Badnore was speaking at  National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) here during the celebrations of National Technology Day.

The  Governor recalled how the former Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee had given us the National Technology Day as on this day  in 1998,  the country achieved a major technology break through  by successfully carrying out nuclear tests at Pokhranin Rajasthan.
