Foundation stone laid for redevelopment of botanical garden in Noida

Union ministers and Mahesh laid the foundation stone for redevelopment and upgradation work of the Botanic Garden of Indian Republic (BGIR) here.

Sharma, the of state for environment, forest and climate change, said this is the largest in the national capital region and would be developed as an important tourist destination.

He said it is estimated that the project would cost around Rs 400 crores and the first phase of the project would be completed this year itself.
