Indore : A large number of people were present outside the court to know the verdict about Naveen Gadke who was awarded death sentence in two separate cases of rape and murder of three-month old baby girl. The incident took place during the wee hours of morning of April 20, 2018.
The people who gathered outside the court attempted to beat Gadke while he was taken away from the court under heavy police cover.
During the hearing of the case, the CCTV footages of the area in which the accused was seen taking the girl to Shiv Vilas Palace where he killed her after rape.
The accused was recognised by his estranged wife in the CCTV footages.
The DNA report of the blood samples, which were sent by police to Sagar laboratory also proved presence of blood stains on Gadke’s clothes, cycle were of victim. Police’s special investigation team head Shivpal Singh Kushwah confirmed that he had seized the clothes of accused who was arrested after incident.
Five year-old girl Shivani was brutally killed by her uncle Rajendra Senger with support of her aunt in July 2012. Court completed the trial in three months and awarded death sentence to main accused and lifer to his wife.
Three people abducted, raped and murdered a four-year-old girl who was watching a wedding procession outside her house in June 2012. Accused Jitendra, Ketan and Sunny had dumped her body near a nullah. Court completed trial in six months and awarded death sentence to the accused.
