Indore : Police arrested a 33-year-old woman and recovered 1,100 grams of ganja from her on Friday. She was supplying ganja in the city for the last few days.
Dwarkapuri police in-charge Devendra Kumar said they received a tip-off that a woman was supplying ganja in Digvijay Nagar area and a police team cordoned off the area where she resides. Police arrested accused Nanda alias Meena Bhagore, a resident of Block B in Digvijay Nagar area. The woman was booked under the NDPS Act.
In another case, a person Ajay of Vrindavan Colony was arrested by the police while he was carrying ganja in Banganga area on Saturday. Police said they arrested the accused from behind Baneshwari Kund and recovered 2 kg ganja from him. The person who gave him ganja to supply it in the market is also being searched by the police.
