Ujjain: A cyber cell and crime branch team together with Chimanganj Mandi police authorities, raided a house in Premnagar Avenue on Agar Road on Thursday night, and arrested bookies betting over Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket matches.
According to the police Billu Rai and Rakesh Yadav, residents of Nijatpura were caught by the police team. The police recovered cash over Rs 380, 15 mobile phones, a laptop, voice recorder, a computer system and registers comprising a record of bets. Chimanganj Mandi police registered an FIR against the duo under Section 3 / 4 of the Public Gambling Act.
