Ujjain : Prominent lawyer Sudheer Bhasin has pooh-poohed the statement of PM Narndra Modi which he gave in the meeting held in election bound state Karnataka some days ago. PM Modi during his meeting stated that Congress leaders had never met freedom fighters Bhagat Singh and Batukeshwar Dutt when they were in prison.
Lawyer Bhasin, who was awarded PhD by Vikram University in 2009 on Bhagat Singh and his contribution, highlighted that Jawaharlal Nehru, Mahatma Gandhi and Subhash Chandra Bose had met Bhagat Singh in the jail and afterward they reviewed his contribution and sacrifice for the nation.
