Woman raped and murdered in Gomia

A 19-year-old housewife was allegedly raped and murdered in her mother’s house at Kewat tola near Paschim Saram in Gomia  block in Bokaro district on Friday morning.

Police said the deceased was living at her mother house at Saram area within limits of Gomia police station.

Police –in charge of Gomia police Anil Sharma suspect the incident occurred around late night on Thursday when her mother had gone somewhere to her relative for attending a funeral.

There was no sign of forced entry into her house which possibly indicate that the victim knew the assailant.
