Troy Mayor Patrick Madden and other officials will hold a ribbon cutting Saturday to celebrate the opening of Sweet Sue's Copper Pot.

The event starts at 12 noon at the cafe, located in a restored building at 2423 Fifth Ave.

Owner Susan Dunckel ran a cafe and sweets shop called Sweet Sue's on River Street in Troy for five years. Her new venture, Sweet Sue's Copper Pot, will serve salads, soups, sweets and sandwiches.
