16 candidates file nomination for Gomia bypoll

As Many as 16 candidates filed nomination papers for the bye election in Gomia constituency in Bokaro district on end of the day. According to Bermo SDM, Prem Ranjan, Madhav Lal Singh of BJP, Dr Lambodar Mahto of AJSU, Babita Devi of JMM ,Umesh Kumar Mahto of JMM Ulgulan ,Deonarayan Murmu of Jharkhand Dishom Party, while 11 others independent candidates namely Gautam Tiwari, Enamul Hague Ansari, Ajay Ranjan,Dhanajay Kumar Parjapati, Juli Devi,Takochand Mahto,Khudi Ram Mahto ,Md Sultan,Nikhal Kumar Soreon ,Hem Lal Mahto ,Gulab Rabani  submitted their nomination papers for the Gomia Assembly constituency, SDM added . 

Ranjan said that scrutiny of nomination papers will take place on May 11.The last date for withdrawal of nomination papers is May 14 and election will be held on May 28 from 7am to 3pm and counting of votes will be done on May 31 from 8 am up to result announcement .

In Gomia, the electioneering process has started gaining momentum with every passing day, as for the bye-election at Gomia ,for which polling is scheduled on 28th May ,a total of 16 candidates filed nominations till 10th May .
