Teen leaders honored at luncheon

On May 2, 98 of DeKalb County School’s Teens for Their Future Teen Leaders were recognized for their work in helping to educate sixth graders about avoiding risk behaviors.

Teens For Their Future is an abstinence education program that utilizes specially selected juniors and seniors from each of the county’s high schools to serve as peer mentors to younger youth.
