WORCESTER — Victoria Tutino, a third-year student, at the College of the Holy Cross, has been named to the dean’s list for the first semester of the 2017-18 academic year. She is the daughter of Robert and Kathaleen Tutino of Taunton. She majors in history.

 

BOSTON — Muriel Natsis, of Taunton, earned a master’s degree in nursing administration from Simmons College.

WORCESTER — April Locke of Lakeville, a member of the class of 2018 majoring in environmental engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), was a member of a student team that recently completed an intense, hands-on research project in Boston. The project was titled Evaluating BMP Designs for Phosphorus Removal in Cambridge. In their project summary, the students wrote, “The study, in collaboration with Stantec, involved: calculation comparisons between BATT and regulations, sensitivity analysis of inputs, model validation, and application of the model to BMP design.”

 

WORCESTER — Christine Schondek of Raynham, a member of the Class of 2018 majoring in chemistry and biochemistry at Worcester Polytechnic Institute was a member of a student team that recently completed an intense, hands-on research project in Nancy, France. The project was titled Chlorine Species Fate in Fenton Electrolysis of Wastewater.

 

CONWAY, S.C. — Several Coastal Carolina University students were recognized for their outstanding achievements and service during the annual Student Involvement and Leadership Award ceremony at CCU on Monday, April 16.

Among those students awarded are Brenna Peterson, of Bridgewater.

 

MILTON — Curry College announced that Kellie-Ann Maxwell of Norton, has been inducted into Lambda Pi Eta, the official communication honor society of the National Communication Association. Maxwell was one of 22 students inducted during a ceremony on the Curry College campus.
