The Dow Jones Industrial Average's steady climb over the past seven sessions has pushed it to its highest level since mid March in early Friday action, underscoring the blue-chip gauge's resurgence--however tentative--as investors attempt to shake off worries about trade and geopolitics to drive equity prices higher. The Dow most recently, was up 111 points, or 0.5%, at 24,850, within shouting distance of returning to a psychological round-number level at 25,000 and to its best level since March 16, according to FactSet data. The S&P 500 index meanwhile, rose 0.2% at 2,729, while the Nasdaq Composite Index traded flat at 7,404. All three benchmarks are poised to enjoy a weekly gain of at least 2%.
