Sharks ‘enjoy jazz’, but not classical music

Researchers at Sydney’s Macquarie University have revealed that sharks are capable of recognising jazz music when it is used to signal that it is time to be fed. However, the researchers say that the sharks became confused when they introduced classical music into the experiment, failing at their tasks.

Lorry full of chocolate overturns on highway

A lorry hauling tonnes of liquid chocolate has overturned on a Polish highway, losing most of its load. Fire crews said that the task of clearing up the mess, which blocked the highway in both directions, was being hampered after the chocolate had hardened when it began to cool.

Stalker sent victim more than 65,000 text messages

An Arizona woman has been arrested after she sent more than 65,000 text messages to a man she had gone on one date with. Jacqueline Ades, 31, sent up to 500 messages every day to the victim, including one that said that she would like to bathe in his blood. She also broke into the man’s home, and turned up at his workplace claiming to be his wife.
