SHIPPINGPORT — Shippingport Borough is taking reservations for park shelters in its community park.
Residents may rent the large shelter for $25. The fee for others is $150. Small-shelter rental for residents is free; others pay $50. A $100 refundable deposit is required for anyone renting the large shelter. Shelters are available through Oct. 28.
Year-round community building rental is $50 for residents and $250 for others. A $100 refundable deposit must be paid by all renters.
Each year, residents are eligible to rent the community building twice for the $50 residential fee and are required to pay full rate for additional rentals.
Reservations can be made at the municipal building between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays or by calling 724-643-4333.
