Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday lauded the Jharkhand government for its ways of dealing with the Maoists in the state, officials said.
"Jharkhand is best in the country when it comes to coordination between the state and central forces, holding of the meeting of unified command, dealing with levy demanded by the Naxals (Maoists), and other fronts," he said.
The Minister also lauded the Raghubar Das-led Jharkhand government for providing the required infrastructure to the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
He suggested the state should use advance technology in gathering information.
The meeting also discussed ways to decimate the economic source of the Maoists.
Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said the state government was giving priorities to the development work in Maoist-infested areas.
"People's faith has increased in the administration. The state is getting support from people in anti-Maoist operations," said Das.
The Chief Minister also lauded the work of Jharkhand Police and central forces in the anti-Maoist operations.
