Indore-Puri Humsafar Express introduced

BHUBANESWAR: Ministry of Railways has decided to introduce Indore-Puri weekly Humsafar Express with effect from Saturday.
On the inaugural day, this train will begin its journey from Indore at 6.15 pm as a special train towards Puri. It will return from Puri at 8.15 am on Monday towards Indore as a special train.

But the regular run of this train will commence from Indore on every Tuesday with effect from May 22 and from Puri on every Wednesday with effect from May 23, railway sources said.

The express (train number 19317) will leave Indore at 12.40 pm on every Tuesday and arrive at Puri at 7.55 pm on the following days. In the return direction, 19318 Puri-Indore Humsafar Express will leave Puri at 11.55 pm on every Wednesday and reach Indore at 11.25 am on every Friday.

This train has 16 AC-3 tier coaches and two guard cum generator car. It has stoppages at Jharsuguda Road, Sambalpur City, Angul, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road and Puri in Odisha.
