DA to fade away

11 May 2018, 11:44

The Democratic Alliance (DA) will be losing 50% of its support base due to all the in-house problems. The damage is so great that all the votes they gained over the last few years will be lost either to the ANC or EFF or none.

The DA as a political party, nevermind main opposition to the ANC, is on the verge of collapse. The day Jacob Zuma was removed from the ANC was the day they lost the fight. The only thing that made the DA strong was Jacob Zuma. His corrupt governing made them stronger and the go-to party.

With Cyril Ramaphosa as new president the DA have lost all chance of winning the next election. They have no new strategy to get the ANC out of power as the ace up their sleeve was Zuma. The card has been played but 18 months to early.

I myself who is a member of the DA cannot see them winning an election. They have no leadership and their continuous rich first poor last attitude is only going to hurt them more. Mmusi Maimane has lost support due to his own egotistical rants and the De Lille crisis just made them lose the Western Cape.

Already one can see that the ANC is going to win with a 67% vote next year with the land policy. Cyril Ramaphosa in his own charismatic way has given even the anti-ANC people hope when he became president. Even the loud mouth no nonsense EFF has fallen under his spell. They too will fade away and join the ANC once they lose 70% of their votes in the next election.

The writing is on the wall and the only one winner in the next election is the ANC.
