New office building TNSTC, Porayar in place of demolished one

A Rs 39 lakh new building, housing the office of theState at Porayar in the district, whereeight workers were killed after the roof collapsed on October 20 last year, will come up soon.

Speaking after laying the foundation stone for the building, O S Manian said it would serve as retiring room for transport workers and also house a canteen for workers,

The said the building was being constructed using the allotted by Poompuhar MLA Paunraj.
