Hyung Gyu Kim appointed as Executive Chef in Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay

He brings with him 10 years of experience in some of in some of the finest restaurants in the world. In his last job he was executive chef at W Hotel Doha.

 

Hyung Gyu learned the ropes at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu London, he then proceeded to work in the kitchens of the Corinthia Hotel and Jumeirah Hotel London.

 

 

Hi role at Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay will be to look after the entire culinary operation, leading a team of nearly 60 employees comprising 15 nationalities.

 

 

 

He will oversee a lounge project which will be unveiled this summer.

 

 

General Manager Richard Raab said that Chef Kim will join at exciting time in Bahrain as an extensive white sand beach project is underway at the Hotel. This will lead to the launch of our brand new food and beverage product this summer.

 

 

Kim’ experience has put him in good stead where he will head the milestone project, develop relationships with local Bahraini artisans. He will put in place a series of menus and signature dishes and the team was pleased to have him on board.

 

 

 

Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay will throughout the year bring changes in its In-Room Dining culinary offerings. There will be new menu launch in the state-of-the-art café Bay View Lounge.
