EPA head Scott Pruitt yet again finding himself in the headlines…??this time it’s for a questionable dinner he reportedly had in Rome.??The New York Times...releasing a series of communications that show ??Pruitt dined with a Cardinal who was under investigation at the time for child sexual abuse. ??The Cardinal is George Pell….the dinner was in June of 2017 at a five star restaurant in the Italian capital. ??The documents the Times got there hands on show that officials at the EPA starting planning the dinner in May. ??And the Times’ Eric Lipton reports the EPA learned about the allegations against Pell before the trip. ??The Cardinal has since been taken to trial related to abuse that spans decades. ??The EPA head has been at the center of controversy since being sworn in, ??Accused of using taxpayer money for first-class travel, ??As well as ethics violations after he rented a DC condo from the wife of an energy lobbyist for well below market value. ??
