The arts will be at the forefront in Volusia and Flagler counties this weekend.

Picnic & Pops will bring the Jacksonville Symphony to Palm Coast and blues will fill the air for the New Smyrna Beach Blues Festival.

New performances also will take the stages in area theaters this weekend and muscle cars will be highlighted at the Museum of Arts & Sciences.

Here are 10 things to do this week:

American Muscle Car Show

Historic American cars are set to come to Daytona Beach's Museum of Arts & Sciences, 352 S. Nova Road, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

A guided tour of the display "Luster: Realism and Hyperrealism in Contemporary Automobile and Motorcycle Painting" is set for 1 p.m. in addition to a 1:30 p.m. tour of the Sumar Race Cars inside the Root Family Museum.

The car show outside the museum is free but the tours require museum admission for non-members. Admission is $12.95 for adults, $6.95 for children ages 6 through 17, $10.95 for seniors and students and free for children 5 and younger.

New Smyrna Beach Blues Festival

Blues comes to venues on and around New Smyrna Beach's Flagler Avenue this weekend.

Performances are primarily in the evening, but bands take the stage as early as 4 p.m. Friday, noon Saturday and noon Sunday. The event is free to attend.

Picnic & Pops

The Jacksonville Symphony comes to Palm Coast Sunday for the annual Picnic & Pops event.

Taking place at 1500 Central Ave., the park opens at 6:30 p.m. and the concert is 8 p.m.

'Chicago'

The Tony Award-winning musical about Roxie Hart's murder of her on-the-side lover comes to Peabody Auditorium, 600 Auditorium Blvd., on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Showtimes are at 7:30 p.m. each night. Tickets are $40-$60, depending on the night and seat location, and are available on ticketmaster.com.

Oceans of Color Conference and Expo

The Society of Decorative Painters' expo will bring companies selling goods from painting supplies to colored pencils to the Ocean Center, 101 N. Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach.

The expo is 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $10 each day.

'Don't Mention My Name'

A character with amnesia enters a bed and breakfast where everyone calls him a different name in Fred Carmichael's "Don't Mention My Name."

The comedy mystery opens Friday at Daytona Playhouse, 100 Jessamine Blvd., and runs through May 20.

This weekend's showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.

'The MOMologues'

Tina Turner tribute

The musical tribute is set for 7 p.m. Saturday at Cypress Park, 981 George W. Engram Blvd., Daytona Beach.
