Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said BJP believes in equality and development for all. Mr Modi said party has the most number of MPs in parliament that belong to Schedules Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and minority. Interacting with SC, ST, OBC and Slum Morcha Karyakartas of BJP's Karnataka unit through the Narendra Modi App, Mr Modi said his government has made SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act more stringent in increasing the offences listed in the Act from 22 to 47.

He said Babasaheb Ambedkar predicted long ago that despite many obstacles, India would be the highest ranked in the world. He said BJP is taking a lot of interest in introducing Babasaheb's ideas and ideals to the next generation. Mr Modi said, Mahatma Phule fought for caste discrimination and women's education and she is an inspiration for BJP. He said taking inspiration from all the great saints, NDA government is trying to fulfill Baba Saheb's dream of powerful and prosperous nation.

Mr Modi said Congress never respected Baba Saheb Ambedkar and till the party was in power, Baba Saheb was not given Bharat Ratna. He said Congress was in a hurry to defeat them in the elections, but Shyama Prasad Mukherjee sent Baba Saheb from Bengal to Parliament.

Prime Minister had recently interacted with the party's Yuva Morcha, Kisan Morcha and Mahila Morcha Karyakartas of the state through the app. He had also interacted with the party's candidates for Karnataka Assembly elections through Narendra Modi App.
