HASSAN: Residents of Kaniyuru village in Arkalgud constituency had an unexpected non-vegetarian lunch on Wednesday – courtesy boxes containing 2 kilos of mutton that turned up at their doorstep.
Residents said a few youths came on two motorcycles and gave boxes of meat to all those standing by the roadside. They left without saying who had sent it. A video clip of the distribution is doing the rounds on social media.
The contest here is between district minister A Manju (
Congress), AT Ramaswamy of JD(S) and Yoga Ramesh of BJP.
