MP to promote awareness on Golden Hour

Eluru MP Maganti Babu, who got a couple of stents placed in his cardiac vessels following a heart attack recently, said that he would campaign about the ‘Golden Hour’ concept in rural areas.

The MP, who has not been discharged from Ramesh Multi-Speciality Hospital, addressing the media from the hospital bed, said that the Golden Hour concept saved his life.

He said he was on a cycle yatra at an interior village in his parliamentary constituency when he got chest pain.

Fortunately, he came to Eluru Hospital within an hour and was treated by senior cardiologist P. Ramesh Babu through telemedicine.

He was given an injection and an angiogram was done on him. Based on his experience, he made Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu a few suggestions when he visited him in the hospital.

Earlier Dr. Ramesh Babu explained about the importance of Telemedicine and Golden Hour.
