Kerala Police has a forged signature of the circle inspector and a seal of the Kollam East Police Station.
Dated August 16, 2018, the letter said in view of the approaching

It said during the past one week alone about one lakh people have reached different parts of the state, including Kozhikode, Kannur, Ernakulam, Kollam and Thiruvananthapuram. The message warned against giving alms to them and said women alone at home should not even open the doors if they come.
