RSS not allowing Modi to work: Gehlot

| Updated: May 10, 2018, 23:15 IST
Hubballi: The Centre is taking decisions based on instructions from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), said former Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot here on Thursday.
“RSS is interfering in every ministry and is not allowing even Prime Minister Narendra Modi to work independently. BJP and RSS are the two faces of the same coin,” he alleged.

Gehlot said Modi toured Gujarat for a month during the assembly elections there instead of giving governance. “He toured Karnataka to canvass for BJP candidates. He visits New Delhi as a guest,” he said.

Gehlot said BJP came to power with a full majority, but the government failed to deliver. He claimed that the Congress has a favourable environment in the state. “While there is anti-incumbency in many states, there is no such a situation in Karnataka and the party will retain its position,” he added.
