AINRC demands resignation of Cong govt in Pondy

Press Trust of India  |  Puducherry

AINRC chief N Rangasamy today demanded the resignation of the Narayanasamy-led government in for its 'failure' to maintain law and order and deliver on its promises.

It is amusing to note that V Narayanasamy had sought Kiran Bedi's resignation on moral grounds, when the government headed by him had been 'failing' the people on several counts, he told reporters here.

"Will not the people demand the resignation of the government for its failure to maintain law and order and tackle unemployment problem," the former asked.

Rangasamy said the was accusing the Lt Governor of putting obstacles in implementation of schemes, though the truth was that he (Narayanasamy) was not capable of addressing the concerns of the people at large.

"There is no point in blaming the for anything and everything. The failure of the ministry to deliver on its promises has caused a chaotic situation and the government should take responsibility and resign," he added.

A delegation of All-India N Rangasamy would soon meet in and submit a memorandum on the law and order situation in Puducherry, he said.
