TTD’s ‘Subhapradam’ from May 25

‘Applications for the training camp available from today’

The TTD has decided to launch the summer training camp ‘Subhapradam’ from May 25 to June 1.

Week-long programme

It is a week-long programme aimed at inculcating ethical and Dharmic values among students. “We have selected seven TTD educational institutions for these residential classes. The application forms are available from May 10 to 19 in all TTD Kalyana Mandapams, which can also be downloaded from TTD website,” TTD Joint Executive Officer Pola Bhaskar said at a review meeting here on Wednesday. The filled-in applications can be handed over to Dharma Prachara Mandalis (DPMs) located in various districts.

The TTD feels that it is able to reach only a limited number of students. Of the over 50 lakh students in the range of VI to VIII standard in the two Telugu speaking States, the reach of ‘Subhapradam’ is very limited.

It may be recalled that Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal had recently conducted a meeting with Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishat intending to train resource persons from every district so that they could be ploughed back to conduct the classes for the students.
