VE Commercial Vehicles to launch new multi axle heavy duty truck

Leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) - a joint venture between the Volvo Group and Eicher Motors Limited (EML) - is currently working on a new multi axle heavy duty truck. A camouflaged Eicher heavy duty tractor was recently seen driving at Indore roads. This soon to be launched new variant bears a distinct appearance and looks more powerful than ever before. This would be a part of the Eicher Pro series of heavy duty trucks, manufactured at their facility in Pithampur.

Eicher Trucks and Buses, over the years, has expanded its portfolio of trucks to become a full line player to include capacities from 4.9- 49T. This brand new test vehicle is a testimony of how Eicher is gearing up to meet changing customer needs in commercial vehicle transportation with their trucks that offer superior fuel efficiency and features with advanced technology.

VECV’s higher load carrying capacity trucks are equipped with latest technology VEDX engines and are performing well in applications like cement, steel, tankers, containers and other heavy duty loads. The company is already supplying Euro VI Engines to Volvo companies around the world from their plant in Madhya Pradesh.
