The 10 hotels would span many tiered cities and reputable destinations including Yunnan, Gansu, Shaanxi, Chongqing, Sichuan and Guizhou Province Building. The new hotels would not only function under existing IHG brands in Western China but also introduce new ones to the market.
With the addition of the new hotels, IHG presently operates over 330 hotels with over 100,000 guestrooms under an umbrella of nine brands in Greater China.

InterContinental Chengdu Shawan is located in northern Chengdu, Sichuan Province close to the district government. The new hotel is the brand’s third property in the city, following the InterContinental Century City Chengdu and the InterContinental Global Center.
Hualuxe Guiyang Financial City is part of the first-ever upscale international hotel brand created specifically for Chinese consumers.
Hotel Indigo Puzhehei is the first globally branded hotel in the Puzhehei Scenic Area in Yunnan Province. The property is also IHG’s first hotel in the city.
Hotel Indigo Jiuzhai is next to the entrance of Zhongzha Valley west of the Jiuzhaigou Natural Reserve in Sichuan Province. The hotel joins IHG’s two other hotels in the city: the Holiday Inn Jiuzhai Jarpo and the InterContinental Hotels Resort Jiuzhai Paradise.
Even Hotel Chongqing Central Park is in Yubei District of Chongqing next to the Central Park. The hotel is close to the Chongqing International Expo Centre, city landmarks and the Chongqing International Airport.
Even Hotel Xi’an High-Tech Zone is in the High-Tech Development Zone in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province next to Fortune 500 companies like IBM, Intel, Microsoft, and Huawei. The hotel is in the 32nd to 38th floors of a 656-foot tall high-rise. This signing will follow the recent additions of the Holiday Inn Express Xi’an Qujiang South, the Crowne Plaza Baoji City Center and the Holiday Inn Baoji Central to IHG’s portfolio.
Holiday Inn & Suites Lanzhou Centre is in the Lanzhou Centre building of Lanzhou, Gansu Province. The hotel will be near the Lanzhou West Railway Station and Lanzhou Metro Line 1, which is slated for completion in December 2018.
Holiday Inn Express Guilin High-Tech Zone is in the center of the High-Tech Zone of Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The hotel will be near the new high-speed railway network once construction is complete.
Holiday Inn Express Meishan Dongpo is in the center of Meishan, Sichuan Province near the city’s CBD, shopping venues and transportation hubs.
