Slamming the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal's nephew in connection with a PWD scam, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia today alleged that for the Centre and Lt Governor, Delhi Police and ACB only exists to "trouble" AAP leaders and their relatives.
Sisodia said that the good thing in this country is "justice" and asserted that they (Police and ACB) will be "exposed" like earlier when this case also goes to the court.
He said that the action against Bansal is a part of chain of arrest of AAP MLAs and "harrasment" of AAP minister and their relatives.
"For the Centre and the Lt Governor in the last three years, Delhi Police and ACB only exist to harass and trouble AAP leaders, ministers, their relatives and even their children.
"If they (police and ACB) do not do it, they are pulled up. Cente and L-G are only taking one work which is how to trouble AAP leaders," Sisodia told reporters here.
He claimed that IIT Rourkee had did a third party audit as per terms of contract of the project and submitted a report and PWD also had said that work was done well.
"After the complaint, ACB also did a separate inquiry by Sri Ram Labs which also said that work was satisfactory," Sisodia said.
Three FIRs, including one against a company run by Surendra Bansal, father of Vinay Bansal, were registered by the ACB in this case on May 9 last year. Surendra Bansal, who is married to the sister of Kejriwal's wife, died of heart attack last year.
In a complaint, Rahul Sharma, founder of Roads Anti-Corruption Organisation (RACO), had alleged that Kejriwal and PWD minister Satyendra Jain misused their office for grant of contracts to Bansal.
It was also alleged that the bills sent to the Public Works Department (PWD) for unfinished works were "false and fabricated".
