After another successful season, we aren't surprised that NBC is opting to largely maintain the status quo looking ahead to the 2018-2019 slate. We already knew hits like This Is Us, Will & Grace and The Good Place would be returning in the fall, but the network also handed out early renewals to A.P Bio and Good Girls, much to our excitement. Not every show can be so lucky though, and in order to make room for the new hits a few old staples had to pay the price.
This gave the network room to pick up a slew of interesting new projects, including the Julian Fellowes period piece The Gilded Age and the Ryan Eggold medical drama New Amsterdam.
