• Clippers: Host Toledo blitzed reliever Jordan Milbrath for six runs in the sixth inning, and Triple-A Columbus lost its fourth in a row, 8-4. The Clippers (15-17) have lost four straight. Shortstop Yu Chang doubled twice and drove in a run. DH Richie Shaffer hit a solo home run and scored twice.

• RubberDucks: Double-A Akron reliever Mitch Brown had four wild pitches and a walk in the ninth inning, leading to the go-ahead run for visiting Erie and 4-3 loss for the RubberDucks (20-13). First baseman Joe Sever had three hits and a run scored for Akron.

• Hillcats: Left fielder Jodd Carter was 3-for-5 with a home run, three RBI and three runs scored in advanced Single-A Lynchburg’s 11-5 victory over host Salem. Shortstop Luke Wakamatsu added two hits, two RBI and three runs scored for the Hillcats (15-17), who had 18 hits and left 15 on base.

• Captains: Catcher Jonathan Laureano doubled in a run in the fourth inning, and Single-A Lake County (15-17) added the go-ahead run on a fielding error in the seventh inning to beat host Quad Cities, 2-1.
