Huddersfield to stay on in the Premier League

Huddersfield clinched a valuable point to ensure that they will be playing in the Premier League next season by forcing a 1-1 draw against Champions League hopefuls Chelsea. The draw dented Chelsea’s CL chances ahead of the last round of fixtures.

Tottenham Hotspur, meanwhile, clinched their CL berth as Harry Kane scored the only goal in their 1-0 win over Newcastle.

Champions Manchester City set the Premier League record for most points, most goals and most wins in a single season by beating Brighton 3-1. They’ll look to stretch those numbers when they take the field for a final time this season over the weekend.

Barca continue unbeaten season

Ousmane Dembele was the star for Barcelona as they continued their unbeaten La Liga season with a 5-1 victory over Villarreal.

A much changed Real Madrid, meanwhile, lost against Sevilla 3-2, for their first league defeat since February.
