Cape Coral police are investigating a crash that caused a vehicle fire.
The crash was reported at around 6:45 p.m. near NE Pine Island Road and Del Prado Boulevard.
At least one vehicle appeared to be charred from fire and in a ditch.
No information has been released on injuries.
Traffic one NE Pine Island Road is moving slowly as one lane is closed while police officers investigate.
This is the second crash at this intersection reported today.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
