Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi’s elder son Tej Pratap are all set to tie the knot with Aishwarya Rai, daughter of former minister Chandrika Prasad Rai, on May 12. And like any other wedding ceremony, pre-wedding rituals are in full swing. Pictures from the pre-wedding rituals of Mehndi and haldi are doing rounds. Check out the pictures below:
The Mehndi-Sangeet ceremony was organised at bride Aishwarya Rai‘s home, where Tej Pratap along with his mother Rabri Devi, brother Tejashwai Yadav and sister Misa Bharti was present. Lalu’s other children were also present there. To note, Lalu Yadav, who is serving sentences in fodder scam cases, was granted five-day parole to attend his son’s wedding later this week.
Earlier on April 18, Tej Pratap got engaged to Aishwarya Rai during a grand ceremony at a 5-star hotel in Patna. Minutes after the ceremony got over, Tej Pratap wrote an emotional “Miss you PAPA” message with a sad emoticon on Twitter. Tej and Aishwarya will exchange vows on May 12 in Patna.
