Tight security for CM’s meeting

KCR to launch Rythu Bandhu scheme at Shaalapally village

The Karimnagar district police are leaving no stone unturned for the smooth conduct of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s visit to the town and Huzurabad mandal for the launch of Rythu Bandhu scheme on Thursday. As the Chief Minister is travelling by road from Karimnagar to Huzurabad, the bomb disposal squads and road opening parties have intensified their checking all along the route.

The police teams were thoroughly checking the culverts, bridges and adjoining bushes along the road from Karimnagar to Huzurabad with dogs squads also.

To avoid any untoward incidents during the CM’s visit, the police has deployed 2,300 personnel of various ranks for the bandobust in the town and at the meeting venue in Huzurabad mandal.

The police were roped in from Karimnagar, Ramagundam, Warangal and Khammam commissionerates and also from Mahabubad, Jayashankar-Bhupalapalli, Badadri Kothagudem, Adilabad, Nirmal and Asifabad districts.

In all 13 ACPs, 40 inspectors, 154 SIs, a woman SI, 384 head constables, 873 constables, 94 women PCs and 770 home guards, 22 quick reaction teams, 20 special police battalions, six platoons of TS Special Police have been deployed.
