PANAJI: Union minister for civil aviation and commerce and industry,
Suresh Prabhu, on Thursday tweeted stating that chief minister
Manohar Parrikar is responding well to medical treatment in the
United States.
“Spoke to @manoharparrikar, who is responding well to medical treatment in the US. Wishing him well for speedy recovery so he returns to India soon to resume his responsibilities of developing #Goa as leading state,” Prabhu posted on a social media site.

Narendra Sawaikar said that as of now ‘the news’ is that Parrikar could return to Goa in May. He, however, added, “There is no communication from his (Parrikar) side right now. The exact date is not specified. It will all depend on doctor’s advice. His condition is better.”
