PHIDIM: Church Boys Club of Kathmandu defeated Ekata Youth Club of Morang 4-1 and advanced to the final of the Kummayak-Kusayak Gold Cup Football Tournament on Tuesday.
Niraj Basnet scored a hat-trick and Bhuwan Basnet netted a goal for Church Boys, while Saujan Yakkha pulled one back for Ekata.
Niraj scored in the 18th, 62nd and 72nd minutes, while Bhuwan added one in 38th minute. Yakkha scored the consolation goal for Ekata in the 54th minute. Church Boys will face Sundhara Club in Wednesday’s final. — HNS
