Cleveland man accused of motor-vehicle theft, other felony offenses

A 30-year-old Cuyahoga County resident accused of stealing a 2000 Lincoln Towncar, not obeying police orders and breaking and entering, was arraigned on related charges May 9 in Mentor Municipal Court, records there show.

Arraigned was William P. Bajzel, whose address appears in his court paperwork as 2121 W. 117 St., faces one fourth-degree felony count each of theft of a motor vehicle and failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, fifth-degree felony breaking and entering, second-degree misdemeanor obstructing official business, two unclassified misdemeanor counts of driving under suspension, two first-degree misdemeanor counts of hit-skip and two minor misdemeanor counts of reckless operation.

If convicted of the three felonies alone, Bajzel could get up to four years behind bars.

Records show he is being held on a $75,000/10 percent cash/surety bond and has a pretrial/preliminary hearing scheduled May 17.
