Chief Minister to reach main venue by road

To interact with farmers in Alugunur, Manakondur, Shankarpatnam and Huzurabad all along the route

Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao is scheduled to reach the venue for the launch of the Rythu Bandhu scheme between Shalapalli and Indiranagar of Huzurabad mandal on Thursday by road from Karimnagar town.

The Chief Minister is expected to stay at Karimnagar Telangana Bhavan at Teegalaguttapalli on the outskirts of the town on Wednesday evening. He would drive to the venue passing through Alugunur, Manakondur, Shankarpatnam and Huzurabad and all along the route he would interact with farmers

At a review meeting on Tuesday with the district officials on the arrangements, Minister for Finance and Civil Supplies Etala Rajender instructed the fire services personnel to deploy at least five fire tenders at the main venue, he directed the Health Department officials to deploy 104 and 108 ambulances and also open medical camps at the venue in view of the heat.

He directed the officials to ensure that the farmers were properly taken care of till they returned to their respective villages. The administration would be deploying over 1600 buses in the erstwhile Karimnagar district for mobilization of farmers and women SHG members. Karimnagar MP B. Vinod Kumar, Collector Sarfaraz Ahmad, Joint Collector B. Srinivas, IDC chairman Eda Shankar Reddy, RDO Raja Goud, DMHO Sujatha, District Agriculture Officer V. Sreedhar were present.
