The entire second half of Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja’s wedding on Tuesday somehow turned into a big meme. Bollywood stars had the best night of their lives as they got high on music and dance. Anil Kapoor unbuttoned his shirt, Ranveer Singh swung the groom around, Kareena Kapoor Khan overtook the DJ’s turntable and Arjun Kapoor went live on Instagram at midnight.

However, none of these events could surprise us more than when Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan took over the mic, brought Sonam’s mother, Sunita Kapoor on stage and sang a bizarre rendition of Ye Bandhan Toh from Karan Arjun for her. While Sunita could not stop blushing and tried her best to wriggle out of their hold, they would not let her go. Salman and Shah Rukh remembered the song’s lyrics by heart and sang an entire verse without a glitch for her.

Sunita’s husband, Anil Kapoor, laughed at her misery in Ranveer Singh arms. Finally, Sonam came to her rescue and Shah Rukh respectfully took her off stage. Watch the hilarious video here:

After her wedding, Sonam is likely to leave for the Cannes Film Festival where she is expected to walk the red carpet for the eighth time. She will be seen at Cannes on May 14 and 15, representing a make-up brand. She will then focus on promoting her film with Kareena Kapoor, Veere Di Wedding.

Sonam and Anand have postponed their honeymoon keeping her schedule in mind and are likely to take a break only after November.
