2018 Hyundai Santro

The last upcoming car on our list is none other than the 2018 Hyundai Santro, which is going to be an all-new car. However it is confirmed that Hyundai Santro Facelift – Expected Launch Date: Oct 2018 – Dec 2018. Hyundai Santro holds a strong, powerful and successful history in the Indian automobile market. It was discontinued in the year 2013, but it will make a re-entry very soon in the Indian market. We expect a 800cc or 1.0-litre engine on the all-new 2018 Santro, which will rival Renault Kwid, Maruti Suzuki Celerio, Tata Tiago and more after its official launch.

2018 Honda Amaze

The Japanese Automaker Honda has created a lot of buzz at the 2018 Auto Expo, where the unveiled the 2018 Honda Amaze. The new-gen Amaze is much more than a simple facelift update. It now gets a more powerful 1.5L engine, alongside its popular 1.2-litre engine that churns 87bhp of maximum power. The new exterior design looks highly inspired from the Honda City, which now makes the car look more premium. It won’t be wrong to call the new Amaze a mini-City. This sedan now gets a new 7-inch touch-screen infotainment system that supports smartphone connectivity, navigation and a lot more. The official launch may happen by the end of this year.

2018 Maruti Suzuki WagonR

The next upcoming launch on our list is the new-generation 2018 Maruti Suzuki WagonR, which is all-set to launch this year. All thanks to camouflage leaks and spy shots, it can be easily stated that the all-new 2018 WagonR is going to be a completely different from its current avatar. Some reports also claim that Maruti Suzuki may also launch a 7-seater variant for this car. However, the regular 5-seater is confirmed to be coming soon. Currently, there is no official confirmation or reports on the engine specification, but we suppose Maruti won’t ditch the current engines that power the existing WagonR.

 

Toyota Yaris

Toyota Yaris grabbed a lot of attention during its official unveiling at the 2018 Auto Expo. Recently, Toyota has officially confirmed that the bookings for its Yaris sedan will begin from April this year, and the official launch will take place at a later date. Starting from its exterior design, looks to its interiors, the Yaris sedan looks superb. It is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine mated to a 6-speed manual or 7-speed CVT automatic gearbox. Toyota is no mood to launch any diesel variant, at least this year.

 

2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz (facelift)

All thanks to the increasing stiff competition in the C-Segment sedan that offers Honda City, Skoda Rapid, Volkswagen Vento and the latest entry Toyota Yaris, Maruti Suzuki has decided to launch an updated Maruti Suzuki Ciaz by the end of this year. The 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is going to be a facelift variant with all sorts of new features including LED DRLs, projector headlamps, an all-new touchscreen infotainment system and many new features as well. The exteriors will get minor tweaks for a fresher look. However, we don’t expect any changes to the current engines that power the current Ciaz models.
