Indore: Army officers reminded about their duties at passing out parade


Mhow: The passing out ceremony of cadets who undertook Technical Entry Scheme (TES) 31 course was held at Military College of Telecommunication Engineering (MCTE) ground here on Tuesday.  Lieutenant General Rajeev Chopra, AVSM, Commandant, Infantry School, was the chief guest who awarded medals. The parade marked the culmination three-year course of Gentlemen Cadets who are army officers.

In a motivating address, the chief guest congratulated the army officers on successfully completing the training and reminded them of what the nation expects from them, especially in view of the rapid technological advancements, prevailing counter insurgency environment and the stellar role army has played to maintain country’s territorial integrity.

The General Officer also congratulated them especially for their exceptional drill movements. Wing Cadet Quarter Master K Avinash was the recipient of General Officer Commanding in Chief (GOC-in-C) Army Training Command (ARTRAC) gold medal and GOC-in-C ARTRAC trophy for standing first in the overall order of merit.


Wing Cadet Adjutant Vishal Singh was the recipient of GOC-in-C ARTRAC silver medal and the GOC-in-C ARTRAC. Bronze medal was received by Wing Cadet Captain Lohit Yadav. Arjun Platoon won the coveted GOC-in-C ARTRAC banner for standing first among the four platoons. These Gentlemen Cadets will now proceed to Officer Training Academy, Gaya, for passing out parade before getting commissioned as officers in Indian Army on Wednesday.
