Urban Development Dept nod to make P&M Mall multiplex

The steel city is all set to join the list of metro cities boasting of a six-screened multiplex presenting 30 film shows daily. The Urban Development department has given its green signal to the P&M Hi Tech City Centre mall to start multiplex.

The mall management had applied for the license for multiplex about three months back, the Urban Development department after studying every aspects of the project gave its approval. The multiplex is expected to start functioning from month end. The advance booking for the showz is expected to start within 15 days.

An official informed that the multiplex will be equipped with all the modern facilities and amenities. It will state-of-the art facilities with 6-screen multiplex showing daily 30 shows and accommodating 1200 seats with large and spacious six different ticketing counters. There will be a separate coffee shop at the multiplex too.  

“The cinema will be fully air-conditioned with plush seats, offering extra wide legroom and excellent screen viewing angles. It will bring together 100 per cent digital technology, RealD, the world’s best 3D technology, Hollywood standard 4k digital screens and 7.1 Dolby digital audio,” said an official.

He went on to add that movie lovers will also be able to enjoy freshly prepared, high quality food from the concessions stands located in the spacious cinema lobby. Among some of the specialties will be the different flavors of popcorn -- butter salted, caramel and cheese. Not be missed is the half-n-half mixed popcorn experience.
