Who Wants To Be A Millionaire: Jeremy Clarkson fumes as hopeful makes unforgivable error
WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE host Jeremy Clarkson was left infuriated when one contestant chose to ignore his advice on tonight’s show and ended up walking home with a meagre amount of money.
The television presenter was left devastated when tonight’s first hopeful Mustafa failed to win big and begged the remaining hopefuls to “be good”.
Emma was the second contestant of the night and got off to a great start, impressing Jeremy with her general knowledge.
However, things quickly took a turn for the worst when she failed to heed his advice.
Jeremy Clarkson asked if she would like to set her safety net at £16,000 before answering the next question.
But feeling confident Emma replied: “No, I’ve still got one lifeline left I’ll be fine.”
She was then asked: “Which of these elements is metallic?”
Jeremy offered her the answers of: “Neon, Cobalt, Phosphorus or Chlorine.”
Emma, who is a teacher, struggled to think of the correct answer.
As she continued to deliberate her answer, Jeremy offered some advice and suggested she used her final lifeline.
But Emma refused to listen and claimed she could answer alone.

When will it end? It's really annoying now
She explained that neither of her friends, who she had chosen as her “phone a friend” would know the answer.
Feeling confident, she went on to choose phosphorus.
As Jeremy learned the correct choice, he looked infuriated as put his head in his hands.
“It’s the wrong answer,” he sighed. “It’s cobalt.
“I’m so sorry Emma. Nevertheless, you did lose £7,000.”

Clearly fuming that she had chosen to ignore his advice in order to progress through the competition.
