The Auto Component Manufacturers Association is organising BSM/Tech-show focussed on four OEMs in Gujarat, namely Maruti Suzuki India, Ford Motors India, Tata Motors and Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India. The event called ‘ACMA Value Chain Summit’ is being organised at the Mahatma Mandir, Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat on May 18 and 19, 2018.
The ACMA Value Chain Summit aims to:
- Support OEMS in Gujarat to discover new suppliers.
- Support ACMA members in business development, especially connecting Tier-2 suppliers with Tier-1 suppliers.
- Provide a platform for interacting with the state government for addressing local issues.
The event will see high-level participation from industry leaders including, Kenichi Ayukawa, managing director and CEO, Maruti Suzuki India and Sunil Kakkar, executive vice president (SC), Maruti Suzuki India; Anurag Mehrotra, president and managing director, Ford India; Thomas Flack, chief purchasing officer, Tata Motors; Mioru Kato, president and CEO, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India and Anupam Mohindroo, senior vice president and director (Purchase), Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India.
The conference will also witness a display of around 200 companies, with separate sections for Tier-1 suppliers already present and those who wish to be in Gujarat and a similar distinct section for Tier-2 suppliers already present and those who wish to establish their presence in the state.
