Three doors have been replaced on the Mathews Museum and volunteers are finishing the basements which will keep them dry and more usable. The Stark Community Foundation provided a grant to help with the cost of the project.

Tom and Ken Diehl are restoring a 1923 fire engine that was used in Navarre. The society plans to use the fire engine in parades and for other events. If anyone has photos of the fire engine please bring them to the historical society from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. any Wednesday at the educational building. Copies can be made by volunteers.

Continue to donate aluminum cans into the blue barrels outside the educational building.
